FDA Announces Grain Millers Recall of 63,200 Pounds of Rolled Oats Due to Plastic Contamination Risk

The Food and Drug Administration has issued a public health alert regarding Grain Millers’ recall of approximately 63,200 pounds of rolled oat products potentially contaminated with foreign plastic materials. The recall encompasses two specific product categories distributed to retail centers in California and Indiana.

Affected products include 20 bulk totes containing 1,800 pounds each of Regular Rolled Oats #5 (product identification 810239153, code 250131N-1) and 17 bulk totes containing 1,600 pounds each of Quick Rolled Oats #21 (product identification 811176, code 250202N-2). The FDA has indicated the recall process remains active and awaits final classification determination.
